Where is the SCVNGR app?
Search "SCVNGR" in the App Store or Android Market. Android devices must have OS 2.1 or higher.
How do I play?
Go to each location within trek, complete "Challenges in Trek" to earn points. Complete enough challenges in the trek and you'll unlock the ArtPrize Badge. You will see other challenges at each location (Check in, Say Something, Social Check-In, Snap a Photo), which are super fun to do too, and can earn you normal SCVNGR points but will not count towards the trek.
I don't have an iPhone or Android. Can I still play?
Yes. Users can play via SMS text message. Your standard text messaging rates will apply. We suggest playing your trek with a clean inbox. Simply text the trek keyword to 728647 and your first challenge will arrive shortly.
How do I do a photo challenge on SMS text message?
Instructions will arrive via SMS text message to your phone. In summary, for photo challenges simply respond with DONE to move on once you've snapped your photo. Your next challenge will arrive. Don't forget to send your photo via email to pics@scvngr.com with your phone number in the subject line.
How do I find the ArtPrize Treks on SCVNGR?
Once logged into the SCVNGR app, tap the "Treks" tab and look for ArtPrize in the list.
Where do I check my score for the ArtPrize Treks?
Simply go to the "Treks" tab in the SCVNGR app and select the appropriate Trek. You'll see your score right at the top of the screen. (Please note: This score shows points earned from doing challenges in the specific Trek. The score listed on your "profile" displays points earned for *all* the challenges you've done on SCVNGR). Tap the "Info" tab once you're in the specific Trek and see the rankings of all players.
